Living in today’s world, if you are using social media you have a digital footprint. If you have a digital footprint, you have a personal brand. It is almost unthinkable to attend an appointment without googling the person you are meeting first.
I recently read an article in the Harvard Business Review, which stated, “Taking control of your personal brand may mean the difference between an unfulfilling job and a rewarding career”. I could not agree more. What is a personal brand? It is the art of packaging yourself in a way that is marketable and of benefit to your life and livelihood. You are your greatest asset in life so why not take advantage of your self.
